From architecture to furniture and art, young German designer Johannes Budde explores design in multiple facets. After having studied Architecture (M.Sc.) in Stuttgart, Milan and Vienna and worked in interior design, he decided to devote himself entirely to his passion.
His strong visual approach and passion for form and flow is depicted in all of his creative works. By combining various creative disciplines, he strives to break out of conventional aesthetics and challenge linear thinking.
His design approach evolves out of intuitive form finding through the act of hand drawing – creating a symbiosis between furniture and art. The reference to a drawn line remains perceptible in the lightness and determination of his work.
Johannes has been recognized as a critical thinker, creating out-of-the-box designs that speak a distinctive and intuitive language. He is a newcomer to the industry, yet a pioneer in synthesizing multiple creative disciplines.
